Communication between the candidate and the hiring process is the main focus of candidate engagement. Candidate engagement refers to a candidate’s level of interest and responsiveness throughout the hiring process. It is the procedure and evaluation of consistent text, email, or in-person communication with your candidate. Engagement goals for staffing could include job views, job applications, text responses, or email openings.
Typically, there are three functional areas involved in candidate engagement.
People: who are the audiences and who controls the candidate engagement process?
Procedure: what is our approach and how will we interact with candidates?
Which technological tools will we employ for implementation, execution, and measurement?
