Behavioural Interview

An interview method used to identify a candidate’s prior behavior in a variety of work-related situations is called a behavioral interview. Employers can use it to determine whether a candidate is a perfect fit for the position. This strategy involves asking prospective employees situational questions based on a variety of instances and analyzing their responses. Written assessments and role-playing exercises may also be a part of behavioral interviews.

A normal interview often consists of a series of questions relating to the job role, to which various candidates may provide identical answers. This method provides the interviewer with a clear image of the candidate’s disposition, which is important for some job openings. The behavioral interview questions cover the abilities, aptitudes, and characteristics needed to perform well in a certain employment role.
