Observation Interview in HRM is a new way in which a company or a manager or an employer observes the behaviour of the employee after the hiring is done. The employees are given some days or months which are treated as their probationary period in which they are observed, trained and taught about the company’s rules and regulations, they are taught about the work culture and procedure that is followed by the company. During this period, these newly hired employees are unknowingly put on observation interviews by their immediate reportee bosses or by their seniors to see whether the hired employee is a perfect fit for the role they are hired for. They are judged and interviewed on the basis of their interaction with others, how they treat their targets and goals, how they handle situations in time of stress or in normal times, etc. These new techniques of interviews have been proven as a better way than the traditional process of interview to process and scan the background of the employee.
