Definition
Sprint Planning is a collaborative meeting held at the start of a Scrum sprint where the team decides what work they will complete. The meeting involves the Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Development Team.
Main Objectives of Sprint Planning:
- Define Sprint Goals – What value will be delivered by the end of the sprint?
- Select User Stories – Prioritizing work from the Product Backlog.
- Estimate Workload – Ensuring the team’s capacity is not overloaded.
Sprint Planning ensures clear expectations, alignment, and achievable goals, setting the foundation for a productive sprint.
