What is stress at work?
A mental health condition known as occupational stress is brought on by office work, the workplace, and a variety of other work-related situations. Another name for it is job stress or work stress. It is acknowledged as a significant risk factor for a number of behavioral, psychological, and physical ailments.
Three phases can be distinguished in occupational stress:
- Stage 1: Stress Causes: These are the things that make people more likely to experience stress.
- Stage 2: The second stage is called the stress response, and it is a normal response to external or internal pressure.
Stage 3: Consequences: This refers to the results of our experiences, which can be either positive (eustress) or negative (medical, psychological, or behavioral distress).
