The detailed declaration of a citizen’s TDS returns is made using Form 24Q. Taxpayers utilize this form. It includes comprehensive details regarding the pay and tax deductions. Annexures 1 and 2 are the two Annextures that make up Form 24Q.
Annexure 1
It includes the deductor’s, challans’, and deductee’s details. The pay data are not included in this annexure. It must be submitted for each of the fiscal year’s four quarters.
The following information on the Challan and deductee should be included.
- The branch’s BSR code
- Date of the Challan’s Deposition
- Serial number of the Challan
- The employee’s name, PAN, and the total amount of Challan TDS and interest
- The payment date
Annexure 2.
In contrast to Annexure 1, this annexure includes comprehensive wage information. The first three quarters of the fiscal year are when it must be turned in. All of the deductions that the employee must make are covered in this annexure.
