On a dedicated on-premise or remote server/network, a backup server is responsible for storing critical information, files, directories, databases, and hard disks. It is in charge of preventing data loss in the event of a technical malfunction, calamity, or hard disk failure. It integrates software and hardware technologies to give linked PCs, servers, or other devices backup storage and retrieval capabilities. The backup server is set up on the local network when an on-premises backup solution is deployed. Cloud deployment makes advantage of a remote backup server. at other words, the backup solution is set up off-site, as at a data center.
