A group of people who were born between 1946 and 1964 are referred to as baby boomers. It’s a term used to describe a specific generation, much like Millennials. They are the post-World War II generation known as “boomers,” so named because of the extraordinary post-war increase in birth rates, also known as the “baby boom.” Human resource professionals must uphold equality among employees and refrain from making assumptions about people based on their age or generation.
