Appointment Letter

What is a letter of appointment?

An official letter of appointment is sent by an employer to an applicant who has been chosen for a position. It is a formal document attesting to the candidate’s appointment to a specific position. After the candidate accepts the offer letter, the appointment letter is often sent.

The letter contains a number of facts including the new hire’s KRAs (Key Responsibility Areas), compensation, incentive system, bonus, joining date, etc. It verifies that the candidate has accepted the employer’s offer and legally binds the last correspondence between the company and the worker.
